With the “Arenitas Blancas” viewpoint as a backdrop, the launch of the 2026 Summer Season “Concordia en tus Sentidos” took place this Wednesday. For two hours, residents and visitors enjoyed gastronomic offerings, live music, and artistic expressions that anticipated the spirit of the Concordia summer.
The activity was promoted by the Undersecretariat of Tourism of the Municipality of Concordia and the Mixed Entity of Tourism of Concordia (EMCONTUR), and was part of a FAMPRESS that brought together specialized media from the tourism sector, including Mensajero Turístico, LADEVI, and Radar de Viajes.
“WE HAVE IT ALL”
Mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted that “Concordia is a wonderful city where we have it all: river, lake, thermal springs, history, unique gastronomy, wineries, fishing, events, unique and recognized architecture, and many more attractions; that is why we must continue working in this way, together with the private sector, to continue growing in tourism”.
In that sense, he affirmed that it is important for everyone to “take ownership of the destination and be one more transmitter of what we have, in addition to the promotions that are carried out. We have excellent resources, but we have something more important: the warmth of the people of Concordia, and that cannot be found just anywhere”.
DIVERSITY
The executive president of EMCONTUR, Laureano Schvartzman, after indicating that poor weather conditions had postponed the launch of the season, maintained that “it can be done thanks to the participation of a very large diversity of actors, linked to different tourism sectors, who are the true protagonists, and who come to reflect what is part of our tourism offer”.
“We are very enthusiastic because we believe we are going to have a good summer season, proposing to experience Concordia through the senses, which is an invitation not only for visitors but also for the people of Concordia. It is a city that invites enjoyment through its various proposals,” remarked Schvartzman.
GASTRONOMY WITH MUSICAL AMBIANCE
In the gastronomic space, chef Mauricio Goñe presented two preparations made live: a miniature of river fish fried in a disc, and a pork sirloin in a disc accompanied by a blueberry chutney, which incorporated flavors characteristic of regional production.
Bartender Sergio Rodríguez prepared the “Kilómetro 0” drink, a combination of Chardonnay wine and mandarin cordial, which highlighted the creativity and productive identity of Concordia.
There was also a tasting of the traditional Concordia Dessert, a creation of pastry chef Maximiliano Ceballos, made with ingredients characteristic of the region. The entire proposal was accompanied by the musical ambiance of DJ Mäuss, who made a selection designed to accompany the sunset and the rhythm of the meeting.
ART, TRADITION, AND CARNIVAL
Litoral art was a central part of the day with the presentation of the group Raíces Entrerrianas, which performed original compositions inspired by the landscapes, memory, and history of Concordia. Later, the Sembrando Futuro ballet presented the piece “Concordia es Citrus”, a choreographic performance that evoked traditions, regional rhythms, and the citrus identity of the city.
The closing was in charge of the Carnival, with the presentation of the Emperatriz troupe, the TNT drum section, and the Provincial Carnival Queen, Yanella Aldecoa, who offered a sample of the festive spirit that characterizes the Concordia summer.
The event was also attended by Vice Mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza; the Secretary of Productive Development Federico Schattenhofer; the Secretary of Health Diego Sauré; the head of the Costanera Entity María Pierini; council members, and representatives of the private sector.
