During this Tuesday afternoon, Mayor Francisco Azcué presided over a meeting of the Carnival Entity where progress was discussed regarding the organization of one of the most important and popular events in our city, which will begin on January 20th.
Not only representatives from the different areas of the Municipality of Concordia were part of it, but also from the carnival troupes.
“This is a joint effort, involving all the protagonists of the carnival, with everyone giving their best so that the 2024 edition is a success,” highlighted the mayor Azcué, while remarking that “it is an event that is part of the cultural heritage of Concordia”.
The head of the Executive Branch maintained that “this belongs to all of us, we residents of Concordia must feel it that way, and we are working in that direction so that everything turns out in the best possible way. I only have left to tell you that we look forward to seeing you starting January 20th”.
Luis Sánchez, from the Carnival Entity, referred to the little time remaining for it, noting that “day by day we are working to arrive with the best for the first night. This meeting was necessary to demonstrate that we all make this celebration together; there is a great effort from all parties here, but we do it to be at the very top as the city deserves”.
Undersecretary of Culture, Jorge García, for his part stated that “the objective is to enhance the value of this great celebration, not only of the province but why not of the country, and it belongs to all of us, so we count on the accompaniment and support of all residents of Concordia”.
Present were the vice-mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza; the Chief of Cabinet Eduardo Caminal; the Secretary of Government and Treasury Luciano Dell´Olio; the Undersecretary of Tourism: Laureano Schvartzman; councilman Mauricio Rey; representatives of the carnival troupes and members of the Carnival Entity.
