With a series of alternative non-in-person proposals, the Concordia Carnival will be present this summer during the month of February, to confirm that the passion remains intact. Through spots and clips produced especially for social media, television programs, an exhibition of costumes and headdresses, virtual galleries, and other activities, the greatest summer festival will be present in this atypical year in which there will be no parade at the Corsódromo, but the passion will remain intact.
"This is an atypical year, very strange, for the entire great carnival family. Due to the situation we all know, we cannot have the massive celebration that has been growing year after year. This year we must take care of ourselves and take care of those we love the most. However, together with the mayor Alfredo Francolini, a series of activities were defined to be able to relive and show everything that the most passionate Carnival in the country means," pointed out Matias Soto, coordinator of Popular Festivals.
"From the Carnival Entity and in joint work with the Secretariat of Tourism, a series of proposals are being prepared that will be carried out from now until the end of February, so that there are different proposals every day. Many of them will be through social networks, both on Facebook, as well as Instagram and Youtube, others can be enjoyed through television channels, and also, during the long weekend for the Carnival holiday, a special exhibition of costumes, headdresses and photos will be held at the Tourist Information Center, at Pellegrini and Mitre, among other proposals," detailed Soto.
Starting this Monday, every day throughout February, at 8:00 PM on the social networks of the Carnival Entity and the Municipality of Concordia, you will be able to see audiovisual productions produced especially, which will cover different aspects of the Carnival of Concordia, and will surely surprise many.
In addition, daily, there will be different content on the social networks of the Secretariat of Tourism @CompartíConcordia, and every Monday in February a special program will be shown, at 9:00 PM, on television channels, with a summary of the parades of the 2020 edition of each comparsa, because the passion remains intact.
