With a party at the Equestrian Club, the comparsa based in La Bianca presented its figures and the new samba enredo for the 2019 edition of the Concordia Carnival. Sofía Polito is the Comparsa Queen and Antonella Ortíz is the Drum Section Queen. The President of the Carnival Entity, Sebastián Cuberli, together with the Municipal Secretary of Sports, Marcelo Cresto, and the Corsódromo Coordinator, Pablo Valiente, accompanied "the tricolor" at the presentation.
"From the Carnival Entity, our mission is to support all the comparsas and work together with their directors so that the festival continues to grow and improve year after year, which is the objective set for us by Mayor Enrique Cresto," Cuberli expressed to those present. "We congratulate the entire great Ráfaga family for the work they are doing, as well as the other comparsas, and may we have a great Carnival, the most passionate of all," he wished. For his part, the Secretary of Sports highlighted "the importance of the Carnival, which is not only a party but also a cultural and social event that identifies us, which is part of the identity of Concordia, in addition to what it means in terms of tourism," he maintained.
During the night, a special recognition was given to the figures of the comparsa in the 2018 edition, and Agustina Barrio, who is also the current Queen of the Concordia Carnival, handed over the comparsa crown to her successor, Sofía Polito, the new sovereign of the tricolor. After the presentation of the figures, and closing the night, La Juntada Tricolor and Batería Nota Mil presented the new samba enredo that the carnival group will sing on the nights of the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo, starting Saturday, January 19.
