The Health Secretariat of the Municipality of Concordia has begun the implementation of digital medical records in Primary Health Care Centers, through the Entre Ríos Digital Health System (SaDER).
This facilitates access to information for professionals at any health center or hospital, favoring interdisciplinary care and paperless operations, allowing for the quick and efficient consultation and updating of various patient data.
This morning, Mayor Francisco Azcué, together with the Secretary of Health Dr. Diego Sauré, visited the Directorate of Medical Specialties, one of the first locations where the system began to be used. It is worth noting that the Argentine Delegation of the Mixed Technical Commission of Salto Grande and the Banco Hipotecario donated computers to be used in the Health Centers.
In this regard, Azcué indicated that “these are management achievements that are being conquered based on effort, sacrifice, honesty, and the efficiency of the State. That is why we are so careful with our income so that it is later allocated to issues that improve the quality of life of our residents”.
Along these lines, he recalled that one of the measures worked on by the administration, thinking of the community but also favoring the health system in general, was to enable 24-hour care in reference Health Centers of the city: “The results prove us right, as many residents of Concordia come when they need it, regardless of the time. It is in actions like these that the resources of our taxpayers are seen,” pointed out Azcué.
STREAMLINING AND ACCESS TO INFORMATION
For his part, Sauré valued the implementation of digital medical records in Concordia, since “as of today, each person's medical data will be in every Health Center. This process will streamline information and it will be shared among professionals in the province, and it also avoids paper”.
“These are measures that we are implementing with the goal of improving and making the health system that depends on the Municipality, as well as at the provincial level, increasingly efficient,” remarked Sauré.
Primary Care Director Karina Greco maintained that this event “is invaluable, both for the patient and for the professional since the doctor can view their patient's medical history from any facility. Another important point is being able to create treatment strategies for patients. From now on, every doctor will have a computer at the Health Center where they can access the patient's medical history, regardless of the neighborhood. This process streamlines care and service provision”.
Finally, the manager of the Banco Hipotecario, Alejandra Rutigliano, expressed her gratitude “for being able to collaborate with the municipality and the community in general, understanding that as an entity we are part of Concordia”.
Accompanying them were Vice Mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza; the Secretary of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury Pablo Ferreyra; the Secretary of Productive Development Federico Schattenhofer; the head of the Decentralized Entity of Sanitary Works (EDOS) Javier Del Cerro; and the Director of Medical Specialties Yamina Román.
