The city participated in the third edition of Turismo 360, the International Fair of Smart Tourist Destinations, which took place this weekend in Montevideo, Uruguay. Within the framework of the participation of Entre Ríos, Concordia joined the promotional space alongside Villa Elisa, Colón, and Gualeguaychú, presenting the diversity of the province's attractions and tourist proposals to the Uruguayan public.
During the two days, Concordia was promoted through brochures and direct interaction with visitors, providing information about its main attractions, such as the thermal complexes, the historical heritage, the Castillo San Carlos, the wineries and vineyards, as well as its nature, culture, and gastronomy offerings. Contact with the Uruguayan public allowed for the identification of their main inquiries and interests, providing valuable information to guide future promotional actions and strengthen the arrival of tourists to the National Capital of Citrus.
As part of the proposal, a tasting of flavors and products representative of the region was also carried out, such as Dos Hermanos snacks; blueberry juices from Rincón de Vida and orange juices from Sol y Fruta; alfajores from La Maga and Mamazzita; regional wines from Bodega Hermanos Siandra, Finca Fénix, and Bodega 5 Generaciones; jams from Cosas Ricas; caramelized walnuts from the Santa María nursery, and Grün Bauch beers.
THE TOURISM PROMOTION AGENDA CONTINUES
The promotion agenda will continue throughout September with new participations in important tourist gatherings at the national and regional levels.
Next weekend, the city will be present at the 46th National Immigrant Festival in Oberá, Misiones. Then, on September 19 and 20, it will participate in the 1st Empanada Festival in Termas del Daymán, Uruguay. Finally, from September 26 to 29, the city will be part of the International Tourism Fair (FIT), one of the main spaces for tourism promotion in Latin America.
In this way, the Undersecretariat of Tourism and the Mixed Concordiense Tourism Board (EMCONTUR) continue to strengthen the presence of Concordia in different promotional spaces, disseminating its attractions, its tourist offer, and its regional production, with the objective of positioning the destination, generating new links, and expanding the markets for tourist arrivals.
