With a prominent institutional and tourism presence, for the first time the city of Concordia participated in the 90th edition of the National Grape Harvest Festival in Mendoza. Through a promotional stand, it disseminated its main natural, cultural, and gastronomic attractions, strengthening its positioning in new tourism markets and generating links with other destinations in the country.
During the event, the Concordia stand received a visit from the Undersecretary of Tourism of the city of Mendoza, Felipe Rinaldo, who toured the space, tasted regional products, and spoke with the team present, highlighting the importance of generating links between tourist destinations in Argentina to boost the development of the sector.
Those who approached the stand were able to enjoy regional products and learn about the diversity of proposals that Concordia offers. Among them, the Castillo San Carlos and its link to the history of The Little Prince, the historic Naranjal de Pereda, the three thermal complexes, sport fishing, rural tourism, as well as the natural landscapes of the Uruguay River and the Salto Grande lake.
Visitors were also able to learn about the new Comodoro Pierrestegui Airport, getting to know its facilities, services, and its importance for the tourist and commercial development of the city. In addition, information was shared about popular festivals, the gastronomy of the littoral, and experiences linked to the binational region of Salto Grande, consolidating the National Capital of Citrus as one of the most attractive and complete destinations on the Argentine littoral.
The 2026 National Grape Harvest Festival, under the slogan “90 harvests of the same vine,” once again brought together thousands of Mendoza residents and tourists with shows, parades, cultural fairs, and popular celebrations in different parts of the province. In that context, Concordia was part of this important national meeting, promoting its tourist attractions, its cultural identity, and the proposal of the binational region of Salto Grande to thousands of visitors and sector leaders.
In this context, and under the imprint of the Undersecretariat of Tourism together with the joint work of the Mixed Entity of Tourism of Concordia (EMCONTUR), Concordia had an institutional space with the objective of opening new markets, strengthening tourism promotion, and disseminating the identity of the city.
