The incentive program that offers benefits and discounts through the digital card, developed between September 1st and November 30th, consolidated the modality initiated in the first edition, which expanded access to its benefits beyond traditional tourism, integrating residents and day visitors. This strategic innovation strengthened proximity proposals and boosted economic movement during the low season in the city of Concordia.
In this context, data from the Tourism Observatory of the Undersecretariat of Tourism of the Municipality of Concordia reflect the positive impact of the new modality: in this second opportunity, 218 digital cards were issued, representing a 354% growth compared to the first edition with the incorporation of residents and excursionists - which took place from May 1st to July 4th -, reaching a total of 587 people benefited through the different participating groups.
OVERNIGHT STAYS AND ORIGIN
Of the total cards issued, 35 were used by people who stayed overnight in the city, while 183 corresponded to residents and visitors (excursionists). In percentage terms, 16% of users registered accommodation and the remaining 84% made day visits, a figure that directly evidences the impact of the modality that expanded access to the program.
Regarding the origin of the beneficiaries, Concordia consolidated itself as the main point of adherence by concentrating 46.8% of the issued cards, with 102 registrations. In second place was the province of Buenos Aires, with 64 cards (29.4%), coming from both the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and multiple localities of Greater Buenos Aires and the interior of Buenos Aires province. Added to this scenario are the issuances registered in other localities of Entre Ríos and Santa Fe, with 16 cards each, and in the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, with 14 registrations —mainly from the city of Salto—, which reaffirms the regional and binational reach of the program.
Preliminary data from the second renewed stage of Concorpass 2025 (fourth edition since its inception in 2024), confirm the consolidation of the program as an effective tool to boost tourism and local consumption. The continuity of the expanded modality positions Concorpass as a flexible and sustainable public policy, as a result of joint work with the private sector. The Undersecretariat of Tourism of the Municipality of Concordia and the Mixed Concordiense Tourism Entity (EMCONTUR) reaffirm the commitment to work for an integral, attractive, and diverse destination throughout the year.
