Days ago, lifeguards Pablo Romano and Martín Maidana rescued a minor who had been dragged by the current and carried out into the river in the area of pier 2 at Playa Los Sauces. Mayor Enrique Cresto publicly congratulated the lifeguards who prevented the minor, a resident of the El Molino neighborhood, from drowning.
And he extended these congratulations "to all the lifeguards who work on all the beaches of Concordia with great dedication, commitment, and effort, taking care of people," said the mayor. On the city's various beaches, both municipal and those at the lake, lifeguards work in coordination with the Provincial Government, based on the agreement signed at the time by Cresto and the sector's union.
