The emergency crew of the Decentralized Sanitary Works Agency carried out the repair of a main water pipe this January 1st, at the intersection of San Juan and Chabrillón streets. For several hours, the EDOS team carried out the operation on this holiday to prevent the breakdown from causing service problems. By mid-afternoon, the tasks were completed, successfully repairing the broken pipe.
"We finished 2017 working on the reactivation of the Water Treatment Plant, which had shut down due to the widespread power outage that occurred, and we began 2018 with the emergency crew patrolling the city, working on the maintenance of the network and focusing our energy on repairing this breakdown," commented Juan José Grigolato, auditor of the Agency. Drivers are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the area, due to the work carried out.
