With the passion that characterizes it, the Concordia Carnival brought warmth, color, and rhythm to the International Tourism Fair, held last weekend at La Rural exhibition center in Buenos Aires. At the Salto Grande Region stand, a preview of what will be happening in our city next summer was experienced.
Since the administration of Mayor Enrique Cresto, hard work has been done to position the local Carnival at a national level, and year after year it has been achieved, as shown by what happened in the last edition where each night was fully experienced, with an “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo with its stands filled to capacity.
Within the framework of the joint promotion that the Carnival Entity has been carrying out together with EMCONTUR and the Municipal Tourism Secretariat, actions continue that allow reaching more and new potential visitors to the city, who find in our Carnival a more than interesting proposal to come to the region and enjoy it along with the hot springs, the beaches, the Castillo San Carlos, and other attractions of Concordia.
What happened at the La Rural de Palermo venue last weekend during the most important Tourism Fair on the continent, attended by the main operators and companies in the sector from all over the country and America, confirms the good work of national positioning of the greatest summer festival of Concordia. On this occasion, the promotional work was also coordinated with the Municipality of Federación and CTM to show the attractions of the Salto Grande region together.
Agustina Barrio, Queen of the Concordia Carnival, did not hesitate to affirm the sensations that arise every time there is contact with the public, stating “the passion is noticeable, it is felt in the people because we manage to transmit what this great festival is for us, for our city,” noting that “passion is a characteristic of our city, because it is also experienced in the Reyes Marathon,” she cited as an example.
“We are going to continue promoting the carnival in this 2018 so that next year we have a full Corsódromo and especially full of tourists, that is why it is important that we can be at the FIT so that the whole country and the world can see and feel what we feel,” said the representative of all carnival participants, who together with dancers from the different troupes that give life to the festival were present at the FIT, dancing and talking with the public, inviting them to our city in January and February.
