The weather allowed the 5th Concordia Carnival parade to take place this Sunday. From 8 p.m., the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo moved to the rhythm of passions and with a good turnout of the public. As every night, in a decision implemented by the mayor Enrique Cresto and the Carnival Entity, a raffle for two zero-kilometer motorcycles was held among all attendees and members of the comparsas. In the first raffle of the night, luck favored a member of Emperatriz.
In this way, the city's most popular festival enters its final stretch and only two parade nights remain. The long weekend for the Carnival holiday is coming, and Concordia will experience a unique carnival calendar in the entire province, from Friday to Tuesday.
The Little Elves Carnival (Carnaval de los Pequeños Duendes) will have two nights, in La Bianca and at the Corsódromo; the Concordia Carnival will have its last two nights at the Corsódromo for which advance tickets can already be purchased at www.carnavalconcordia.com.ar; there will also be a murga celebration on Sunday at the Estación de la Cultura and the Popular Carnival of Joy (Carnaval Popular de la Alegría), with a stage at Plaza Urquiza on Monday the 27th and a masquerade parade on Tuesday the 28th at the "burial of the carnival".
