A delegation from the Concordia carnival, led by Mayor Francisco Azcué, was at the Radio Mitre studios in Buenos Aires this morning, promoting the most passionate and popular festival in Concordia.
The presentation took place during the handoff between the programs “Alguien tiene que decirlo”, by Eduardo Feinmann, and “Lanata sin Filtro”, by Jorge Lanata.
In response to the various questions from the members of both programs, the mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted that it is “the most popular and engaging event in the city. It is experienced with great passion and is part of the cultural roots of Concordia”.
After recalling that there are six nights of parades and that this coming long weekend there will be a double session, on Saturday, February 10, and Monday, February 12, Azcué highlighted the teamwork demonstrated by the comparsas Emperatriz, Imperio, Bella Samba, and Ráfaga throughout the year.
“In our carnival, you can see a lot of teamwork, effort, and merit, which is what we promote from our administration. For us, it is a source of pride to have these comparsas and all the people who put their heart and soul into it every weekend”.
The delegation included the president of the Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez, and the Carnival Queen, Carla Delgado.
