An orderly and efficient budget
Responsible planning was the central axis of this fiscal year. With an operating budget of 220.4 million pesos for 2025, this administration achieved an execution of only 50% ($107.9 million) at the time of the balance, prioritizing essential expenses. This administration has been characterized by the commitment to minimize political spending. This ensures that the body begins 2026 without debts or financial commitments that affect the future of the residents of Concordia.
This balance is the direct result of a profound reorganization of the personnel structure. Through a progressive and orderly reduction, the staff was optimized from 174 people in December 2023 to 72 members in 2025. This optimization allowed for a significant reduction in structural expenses, achieving more agile and efficient operations without affecting legislative activity.
Transparency and Open Government
During 2025, we launched the new institutional website concordia.gob.ar/concejo-
- The complete payroll of personnel, with details of positions and functions.
- Agendas and the journal of sessions.
- Institutional information and a transparency portal in permanent update.
Legislation for development and coexistence
In terms of regulations, the body advanced in strategic sanctions for the city's growth, such as the new regulations for the Industrial Park and the ordinance of the EMCONTUR, which grants greater transparency and democracy to the local tourism sector.
Likewise, regulations with high social, health, and cultural impact were enacted:
- The restriction on breeding and commercialization of pets for profit.
- The eradication of farm animal breeding in the urban area to improve public health.
- The creation of the Tourist-Literary Circuit "Concordia, Cradle of the Little Prince".
- The implementation of the Municipal Financial and Tax Education Program (ProMEFyT).
Commitment to youth and participation
We reaffirmed our bond with the new generations through a new edition of the Youth Deliberative Council, where 10 institutions participated under the motto "Your voice counts!". As a result, six ordinance projects drafted by young people were submitted for consideration. In addition, more than 400 students received the "Merit Award", a recognition that highlights not only academic performance, but also values such as effort and solidarity.
"Budget planning and constant monitoring allow us to close this 2025 and begin 2026 with greater order, predictability, and the pride of having made responsible use of public resources", concluded Reta de Urquiza.
