An ideal night was had this Saturday, when the third parade of the 2019 Carnival took place. Hot, but full of passion, the evening was experienced in a packed Corsódromo that danced, sang, and enjoyed the most passionate Carnival. In a trend that has been confirmed week after week, public attendance expectations were once again exceeded, which anticipates that the last 3 parade nights will be unique.
Emperatriz was in charge of "breaking the ice" in this past Saturday, February 9th parade, and did so with its green-and-white display, conquering all the senses of the "Atanasio Bonfiglio". Then it was Imperio's turn, which is defending its crown, telling a story of love and rebirth. Bella Samba made all the stands sing with its classic "Arriba Concordia", filling the local Avenue with multicolored passion. And for the closing, the group from La Bianca, Ráfaga, made everyone sing with its encounter with Mother Earth.
The parade began promptly at 10:30 PM as announced, and concluded minutes before 4 AM, in a show that captivated residents of Concordia and tourists alike due to the artistic quality and staging of the four comparsas. In each of the three nights, the presence of many tourists from different towns in Entre Ríos, from the rest of the country, and also from the Oriental Republic of Uruguay stands out, surely as a result of the promotional actions undertaken by the Municipality together with the Carnival Entity and Emcontur.
It is also worth highlighting the journalistic coverage that the Carnival receives from different media, both local and from different cities in the country. Live broadcasts, special photographic coverage, and the production of material that stands out in national publications are being carried out. The attention it receives from media across the country is an example of the growth that the Carnival of Concordia has had in recent years. "The mayor Enrique Cresto is very committed to the Carnival; he has given it all the tools to consolidate itself as the great cultural and tourist event that it is," notes Sebastián Cuberli, Executive Director of the Carnival Entity, in this regard. "There is very strong support, because there is a decision by the mayor that our Carnival continues to grow. Today it has managed to establish itself on the national agenda because very strong promotional work was done, and it is something that helps not only the carnival participants, but also the tourist and economic development of the city," Cuberli valued.
