With the presence of the new executive president, Lic. María Belén Schauvinhold, the Concordia Mixed Tourism Board (EMCONTUR) held the first meeting of the year, opening the 2026 work agenda with a focus on the summer season and destination promotion. The meeting focused on the development of strategic actions under the concept “Concordia in your senses”.
During the day, aspects related to the management and planning of the organization were addressed, starting with the reporting of expenses and investments made, a key axis to guarantee administrative transparency and optimize the use of resources.
In this framework, the work being developed by the Tourism Observatory was presented, with information regarding the visitor profile and metrics associated with promotion guidelines, analyzing their relationship with the different media through which tourists learn about the destination. These data allow for evaluating the impact of communication actions and providing the Board of Directors with concrete tools for strategic decision-making.
Progress was also made on the promotion actions for the 2026 Grape Harvest as one of the outstanding products of the summer, integrating the experience in wineries and vineyards with the productive and cultural identity of Concordia.
On the other hand, the actions for disseminating the destination through fam press, fam tours, and content generators were analyzed, which are central tools in the promotion strategy, as they allow for amplifying the concept “Concordia in your senses”, generating first-hand accounts, and projecting the experience toward new audiences and strategic markets.
Likewise, progress was made in the implementation of tourist promotion points with local identity and regional flavors, conceived as strategic spaces to accompany the arrival of visitors, offer quality information, and reinforce the city's image through its landscapes, attractions, and local proposals.
Finally, work was done on defining the 2026 training calendar, aimed at identifying opportunities for improvement and continuing to strengthen the quality of the tourist services offered by the National Capital of Citrus.
The meeting allowed for consolidating a common work agenda, reaffirming the commitment to work for an integral destination, with regional identity and a summer proposal that invites you to experience Concordia through the senses.
