Anticipating the most passionate Carnival in Argentina
With an eye on the start of the carnival on January 20th, the Municipality of Concordia is carrying out a series of works to improve the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo grounds, which were inspected by the mayor Enrique Cresto together with members of the Carnival Board.
One of the objectives of the administration of mayor Enrique Cresto is to position our city's Carnival at the national level, and for this, it is important to have facilities in good condition to receive the largest number of the public, both local and tourists
Councilman Sebastián Cuberli, coordinator of the Carnival Board, pointed out that “we were touring the grounds together with mayor Cresto, the president of the Board Matías Soto, and the person in charge of the grounds Pablo Valiente, the works that are being done and which consist of a 360-meter sidewalk behind the stands and improvements in the access to the VIP area, in addition to the beginning of the runway, in the space initially occupied by the batucadas” to which he added the possibility of expanding the ticket offices.
Cuberli remarked that in these two years of administration, many things have been done thinking about the protagonists of the carnival but also about the public that attends every weekend “who experience it with great passion. The Concordia carnival, together with the Los Sauces, Nébel, and Lake beaches, are the great places chosen by people every summer, which is why this planning designed to improve the show is important.”
