The Municipality of Concordia, through the Employment Directorate, held a working meeting with representatives of the Secretariat of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the National Ministry of Human Capital, with the objective of strengthening institutional coordination and promoting registration for the 2026/2027 National Interharvest Program, which remains open until October 23rd inclusive.
The meeting was attended by the Municipality's Director of Employment, Juan Manuel Scarzello; the head of the Employment Department, Claudia Cevey; and Eduardo Vidoni, head of the Concordia delegation of the Secretariat of Labor, Employment and Social Security.
During the meeting, joint actions were addressed to support temporary workers in regional economies, facilitate access to the program, and strengthen employment policies through coordination between the different levels of the State and the private sector.
In this context, it was highlighted that more than 1,000 people have already registered for the 2026/2027 Interharvest Program, an economic assistance tool intended to provide support during the inter-harvest period, when labor activity linked to harvesting and packing decreases.
In this regard, the Director of Employment, Juan Manuel Scarzello, noted: “We are working in a coordinated manner with national agencies to bring these tools to the workers of Concordia. Registration for the Interharvest program is an important step to support those who depend on citrus and blueberry activities, and that is why we continue to reinforce dissemination and advisory services so that they can access the program.”
For his part, Vidoni highlighted the importance of coordinated work between institutions and stated: “The coordination between the Nation and the Municipality allows for strengthening the reach of these public policies to workers. It is essential to continue working jointly, both with State agencies and the private sector, to improve access to available tools and support the particularities of temporary employment in the region.”
