With a significant turnout of carnival participants, the parade of children's troupes that tour the city's neighborhoods took place this past Sunday in La Bianca, conveying the joy of the carnival and our children.
"In La Bianca, a great celebration is being experienced, with all the people decorating the streets, putting up their flags; it is a pleasure and an enormous satisfaction, Pequeños Duendes 2020 edition,” stated Sonia Albornos, Coordinator of Neighborhood Workshops and Cultural Events.
The nursery of the Concordia Carnival continues to tour the city's neighborhoods, and they will do so this Thursday, while on Friday and Sunday the two parades will be held at the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Municipal Corsódromo.
THURSDAY IN THE CIPO NEIGHBORHOOD
“Last Friday it was impossible to hold the scheduled parade in the Cipo neighborhood because we could not expose the children to the high temperatures and then it rained,” recalled Albornos, mentioning that “the decision was very well received by the children's troupes.”
That date had to be rescheduled for this Thursday, February 13, on Concejal Veiga Street from Italia towards Lieberman, in the Cipo neighborhood, with free access starting at 8:00 PM.
FRIDAY AND SUNDAY AT THE CORSÓDROMO
Afterwards, the Pequeños Duendes will arrive at the Corsódromo to parade on the main carnival avenue. On this occasion, on Friday the 14th and Sunday the 16th, admission will be a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to different soup kitchens in the city. Entry will be via Próspero Bovino Street.
