This Friday, February 9, all the magic of the Popular Children's Carnival of Concordia arrives at the main stage of the summer festival. Starting at 8:30 p.m., at the Atanasio Bonfiglio Corsódromo, the young carnival performers will shine in a celebration where dreams are present.
The children's carnival groups will parade down the Corsódromo track in an event for the whole family, kicking off the long carnival weekend. Although admission is free, school supply donations will be collected at the entrances, which will later be distributed through charitable institutions; therefore, all those who can collaborate with pencils, notebooks, backpacks, school smocks, or any school material within their reach are invited to do so.
In this way, a successful edition of the Pequeños Duendes Carnival will begin to close, as Sunday the 11th will be the last parade of the 2018 edition, also at the Corsódromo. 14 children's carnival groups from different neighborhoods of the city are participating in this edition, and in each parade, the joy and the celebration belong to both children and adults.
Organized by the Municipality of Concordia through the Coordination of Neighborhood Workshops and Cultural Events and the Carnival Entity, together with the Conased Foundation and with the support of the Scholarship Institute, the Pequeños Duendes Carnival is a space for support and cultural and artistic expression in which more than a thousand children from Concordia participate along with their families.
