The imperial express has set off and invites all singers from the city and the surrounding area to participate in a casting to select 2 backing vocalists who will be part of the renowned and prestigious Band during the 2020 edition of the Concordia carnivals.
Maestro Waly Garcia, Musical Director of Imperio, explained that the carnival group “has always been characterized by setting a standard because through music it has been introducing and presenting to our carnival new genres related to the theme chosen for each edition”, likewise every year they surprise spectators with musical instruments typical of the culture they represent, thus opening a range of possibilities and ensuring that “the carnival contains various tastes and becomes a stage where artists can create and continue growing without limits with different formats and styles” he expressed.
The singer stated that “the idea for the casting arose after the band's female voices have been changing for several years, but never with this casting modality”, therefore for the 2020 edition, their primary objective is “to find people who are up to the task due to the demands of the work, both professionally and in terms of labor, but also regarding schedule availability” he revealed.
The casting will take place this Monday, November 25th from 14:00 to 20:00 hours, at the Teatro Auditórium located at 1° de Mayo and Urquiza. The casting will be directed by the Musical Director of Imperio, Mr. Waly Garcia, and members of the Imperial band, as well as members of the Commission.
