On Tuesday, the signing of an agreement took place in the Assembly Hall of the Municipality of Concordia between the National Institute of Political Training (INCaP), which reports to the National Ministry of the Interior, the local municipality, and those that make up the Intermunicipal Consortium of the department. The agreement aims to generate continuous training and political education sessions, aimed at political parties, social leaders, representatives of third-sector organizations, members of the State, and the community in general.
The activity was led by the mayor Enrique Cresto and the national director of INCaP, Dr. Fernando Bogado, who were accompanied by provincial deputies Alberto Rotman and Joaquín Lamadrid, as well as the municipal vice-president Armando Gay and the Secretary of Government Martín Santana, councilors from all the blocs that make up the Deliberative Council of Concordia, mayors and municipal authorities from the region, and representatives of different institutions.
In this regard, the mayor Cresto pointed out that “for us, it is very important to achieve this because we are the first to sign this agreement with INCaP in the province,” because this allows for the development of joint work between all political forces, in this case, of the city, which in fact were present at the event.
“We have already announced that we will host the first seminar of this type in Entre Ríos, we will hold it at the Convention Center,” announced Cresto, who stated that “this school of government serves for the consolidation of the rule of law in which we have been living for 33 years in Argentina.”
“It is important that leaders and the youngest go hand in hand with the changes that society demands,” which is why it is worth noting that participation reaches all political lines not only in Concordia but also in the region.
The mayor remarked that the fact that all the ordinances that have been approved in the local Deliberative Council have been voted on unanimously marks the path to follow because the men and women who make up the Municipal Legislative Power work clearly in favor of the interests of the community, and that is achieved with capacity and training.
“STRENGTHENING AND CONSOLIDATION OF DEMOCRACY”
For his part, the national director of INCaP, Dr. Fernando Bogado, maintained that they are grateful for the openness of the Municipality of Concordia to the development “of this school of government and the different programs that we develop from the Institute,” which has as one of its challenges to bring activities to the interior of the country.
Regarding how the training and education will be carried out, Bogado explained that they are in charge of prominent professionals from the most renowned universities in the country. “We hold eight seminars and, in turn, if someone wants to delve deeper into a particular one, they can do so,” adding that INCaP provides advice and support on specific issues to the different public policies of the Municipalities.
“We have no limits when it comes to setting up training,” said Bogado, who stated that they are always aimed “at the strengthening and consolidation of democracy” as well as “generating new leaders” because it is what society demands “beyond political parties: transparency, capacity, management, and efficiency.”
COEXISTENCE
The provincial deputy for Cambiemos, Alberto Rotman, pointed out in his words that despite being active in different political forces, “we achieved a coexistence that gives hope because beyond our ideological differences, “in everything that is a benefit for our city and the region, we are side by side and back to back,” which is why these types of actions are important because they will allow “our country to change.”
Armando Gay, municipal vice-president and president of the Deliberative Council, stated that these types of training sessions bring tools that both the Municipality and the community in general need “not only so that management is more agile or modern but also so that it is even more professional, and that this happens in Concordia is extremely positive.”
