With the participation of 7 carnival groups, during the month of February Concordia will begin to enjoy and experience the Los Pequeños Duendes Carnival, an edition that will take place at the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo.
In a meeting held between different areas of the Municipality of Concordia and members of the carnival groups, various organizational issues were defined, as well as the days and times on which the parades will take place: February 8, 17, and 22, starting at 8:00 PM.
Government Secretary Luciano Dell´Olio highlighted “the joint work we are carrying out with the carnival groups and the commitment that exists from each of the areas of the Municipality for the realization of this event, where the most important thing is that the children can enjoy it, together with their families and the public that always supports us”.
Luis Sánchez, head of the Permanent Carnival Entity, maintained that “we are well aware of what Los Pequeños Duendes means for Concordia and, above all, for the members of each group. There is a lot of effort here, many hours of dedication, which is why we ask the community to support us on each day. It is not a competition but a gathering so that each carnival group can show the result of everything accomplished during the year”.
The groups that will display their talent, sparkle, and joy will be Bella Flor, Los Peques de Camba Paso, Los Cabezones y sus Amigos, Los del Río, Villa Samba, Los Enanitos del Carnaval, and Ferro Berá.
Participating in the meeting were the Undersecretary of Culture and Education Carlos Gatto; the Undersecretary of Citizen Security Claudio Purgart; the Undersecretary of Government Lucas Fuscado; the Events Directorate, among other areas.
