The coordinator of Neighborhood Workshops and Cultural Events of the Municipality, Sonia Albornos, and the institutional advisor to the Executive branch, María de los Ángeles Petit, delivered fabrics and other materials to the Pequeños Duendes carnival troupes, which each carnival group will use for the making of costumes and elements that they will use in the 2020 edition of the children's carnival of Concordia.
"We want to thank the president of the Conased Foundation, Leticia Ponzinibio, who received a donation of fabrics, and brought this material to be delivered to the Pequeños Duendes carnival troupes, which carry out a very important social work of support and inclusion in the neighborhoods, with the children but which encompasses the whole family," indicated Albornos.
"They are different fabrics that will allow each troupe to apply the knowledge they have been acquiring in the workshops that we have been conducting, and will allow them to parade in the Pequeños Duendes Carnival," she added. At the same time, Albornos emphasized "the decision of the mayor Enrique Cresto that this festival be part of the State policies of the local government, because it is much more than an instance of play and fun for so many children, it is above all a space for meeting, socialization, inclusion and expression through art and culture," she maintained.
"The Pequeños Duendes is a great itinerant and popular festival," she said and announced that "we have already defined the parade schedule. The start will be on Friday, January 17, 2020, in the Centenario neighborhood, where we will hold the first parade of this new edition," confirmed the coordinator.
