This Saturday, another spectacular night full of passion was experienced at our carnival. With tickets completely sold out, the public accompanied us exceptionally, just as they did on previous nights.
The opening of the night was led by the Imperio comparsa, followed by Emperatriz and Ráfaga respectively, while Bella Samba closed the third night.
The runway was filled with emotion as the great Atanasio Bonfiglio was remembered. His family received recognition from the Mayor, Francisco Azcué, and the president of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sanchez.
ATANASIO BONFIGLIO
Since 1913, Atanasio Bonfiglio stood out for being the only carnival performer who never missed the carnivals. In every parade held, he carried the standard-bearer of various groups and comparsas with enthusiasm and joy whenever his magical presence was required.
In those years, the carnivals were held along Av. Monseñor Tavella, along Entre Ríos, along Av. Carriego, and at other times along Estrada street.
For 33 years, Atanasio proudly carried the standard-bearer for the “Los Pelotaris” comparsa, followed by “Los Marinos”, then “La Juventud Unida”, “Los Salamines”, and also that of “Los Nenes del Nebel”.
Our Corsódromo bears his name for being the standard of our carnival identity, for being the undisputed symbol of all carnival performers, of our passion and carnival spirit. Atanasio Bonfiglio, Intangible Cultural Heritage of our Carnival.
VIVIENDAS ROCA RAFFLE
As every Saturday, five new finalists were chosen to participate for the grand prize from Viviendas Roca.
Participating this night were Luis Sánchez, Council members Felipe Sastre and Celeste Fuscado, the Secretary of Government and Treasury, Luciano Dell Olio, along with representatives from the company.
The numbers that were selected were: 01105, 01936, 01186, 50236, 50411.
This week, one more point of sale will be added to the two already established (Plaza 25 de mayo and Urquiza 847); the voucher can be purchased at Caja Mixta.
Three nights of carnival remain, where the four protagonists of this battle of passions will give their all on the runway in search of the 2024 championship.
Tickets remain on sale at www.concordiacarnaval.com.ar, at Caja Mixta, and at the Corsódromo ticket offices every Saturday.
