The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, invites the community to participate in a rich agenda of activities designed to experience Holy Week through gathering, reflection, and the promotion of our traditions.
During these days, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy proposals that integrate artistic, cultural, and religious expressions in different parts of the city.
In this context, the 33rd edition of the traditional Feria de las Golondrinas will be held, a space that brings together artisans from Corrientes, Mar del Plata, Misiones, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Santa Fe, and Entre Ríos, promoting cultural exchange and support for independent work. The fair will take place on Thursday the 2nd, Friday the 3rd, Saturday the 4th, and Sunday the 5th of April at Plaza 25 de Mayo and at the Paseo del Bicentenario, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
On Friday the 3rd, a fragment of the Misa Criolla and Liturgical Lyrical Music will be presented, an artistic proposal that combines Argentine musical tradition with the sensitivity of academic music, creating a space for deep reflection and spiritual gathering. The activity will take place at the Catedral San Antonio de Padua de la Concordia, at 8:00 PM.
On Saturday, April 4th at 8:00 PM, at the Iglesia de los Padres Capuchinos (Sarmiento 804), the Sacred Music Concert will be held, with the participation of the Tahil Mapu Choir of the UNER, the Chamber Choir of the Municipality of Concordia, Coro Amici, and Coro Cantabile, together with soprano Victoria Walls, accompanied by Alan Céspedes.
Likewise, during the weekend, those who wish to explore permanent cultural offerings may visit the Municipal Museum of Visual Arts and the “Lucio Fontana” Hall, located at Urquiza 638, which will remain open from Thursday to Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
