Mayor Francisco Azcué visited the IVESS mineral water bottling plant, established in Concordia since the beginning of 2024, the only one of its kind in the province of Entre Ríos. The firm decided to settle in the city, betting on its productive and logistical potential, with a plant that meets the highest quality standards and generates direct and indirect employment for ten Concordia families.
Currently, the plant supplies the entire Concordia department and plans to expand its reach to the region by 2026, consolidating the city as a hub of opportunities for investment and industrial development.
“Our role as the State goes beyond providing services or responding to daily demands. We must create the conditions for the private sector to choose us, invest, and generate genuine employment. This is the case of a company that bet on Concordia and today produces with high quality standards from our city,” highlighted Azcué.
The mayor stressed that the installation of IVESS in Concordia “is a sign of confidence in the direction of the city and in the capacity of its people.” “The private sector is the engine of development and growth. We are here to accompany, facilitate, and continue creating the conditions for more companies to choose Concordia as a good place to live, work, and invest,” he stated.
For his part, Diego Iparraguirre, head of IVESS Concordia, valued the support of the Municipality throughout the process: “We are proud to have chosen this city, which welcomed us with open arms. From the first day, we felt support and facilities to set up. Today we can supply the entire department and we are already thinking about expanding to other towns in the region.”
Also participating in the tour was the Director of Environmental Sanitation of the Municipality, Carlos Pantaleone, together with the company's technical team.
With initiatives like this, Concordia reaffirms its profile as a city that bets on work, production, and private investment as engines of its sustainable growth.
