Within the framework of an intense work agenda in the city of Buenos Aires, the Undersecretary of Education and Culture of the Municipality of Concordia, Prof. Carlos Gatto, held strategic meetings with leaders in the national academic, educational, and cultural spheres, with a view to organizing the 2nd Concordia Pedagogical Congress, scheduled for September, and to planning new cultural proposals for the city.
These efforts, carried out with the support of the Mayor Dr. Francisco Azcué, are part of an active public policy for educational and cultural strengthening, with a clear federal and participatory vision.
"We are convinced that the path to transforming realities is sustained work, dialogue with the actors who shape education and culture throughout the country, and the construction of public policies with a territorial perspective," Gatto stated.
During the day, the official held a key meeting with Julián Parenti, Academic Secretary of the University of the City of Buenos Aires, with whom he began to outline the academic content of the 2nd Concordia Pedagogical Congress, which is consolidating itself as a regional reference space for debate and teacher training.
Likewise, together with Florencia Casabella, president of the Potenciar Foundation, they analyzed the progress of the Municipal Literacy Plan "Learning without Limits," one of the most significant initiatives of the current administration in educational matters, and defined lines of work for its integration into the Congress.
Another of the highlighted meetings was with Lic. Nicolás Pascualuni, a young Argentine leader in financial education and recognized for having visited the 196 countries of the world, with whom proposals for financial skills training for young people were addressed.
In this same line, Gatto met with Diego García Francés, Director of Institutional Relations of Educabot Argentina and CEO of Akademos Digital Education, with the aim of incorporating technological and innovative experiences into the Pedagogical Congress and strengthening the links between education and new technologies.
Finally, the Undersecretary held a meeting with National Deputy Nancy Ballejos and with Gastón Pulero, National Director of Federal Integration and International Cooperation of the National Secretariat of Culture, with whom they addressed lines of joint work and future cultural actions for the city of Concordia, in line with the integrative vision of the current municipal administration.
"We are working so that Concordia has a prominent place on the national educational and cultural agenda. These meetings open doors, boost ideas, and allow us to continue projecting a city where learning, creating, and growing are guaranteed rights for all," concluded the Undersecretary.
