The Undersecretariat of Tourism, the Mixed Entity of Tourism of Concordia (EMCONTUR), and Concordia Bureau held a presentation at the Casa de Entre Ríos in Buenos Aires, in an After Office format, to showcase the strengths of Concordia as a venue for congresses, conventions, fairs, and corporate events. The initiative was developed within the framework of a strategic action aimed at consolidating the city's positioning in the meetings tourism segment at a national level.
On this occasion, the presentation was led by the Undersecretary of Tourism of Concordia and Executive President of EMCONTUR, María Belén Schauvinhold; the President of Concordia Bureau, Agustín Negri; and the international consultant and advisor in strategic marketing and tourism, Pablo Sismanian. The speakers detailed the city's competitive advantages for the development of the sector, highlighting its infrastructure, connectivity, organizational capacity, and the public-private articulation that drives the sustained growth of this segment in Concordia.
During the meeting, the city's conditions were highlighted, including its main reference, the Concordia Convention Center, complemented by a wide range of accommodations and connectivity strengthened by Highway Number 14 and the Concordia Airport, which currently operates regular flights to Aeroparque in 45 minutes. Added to these characteristics is a comprehensive tourism proposal that enriches the visitors' experience, combining thermal springs, nature, heritage, regional gastronomy, wine tourism, and experiences linked to local identity.
After the main presentation, attendees enjoyed music by DJ Federico Wallingre and tasted the regional gastronomic proposal firsthand. The meeting featured live cooking by chef Juan Gusalli, who presented dishes inspired by the flavors of the Uruguay River coast, accompanied by signature cocktails by bartender Sergio Rodríguez, designed especially to complement each preparation and highlight local ingredients.
