With significant support from residents of Concordia and tourists, the Concordia Carnival 2026 experienced its second night this Saturday at the Atanasio Bonfiglio Corsódromo, reaffirming the consolidation of one of the most popular festivals in the country.
The day proceeded normally and before an audience that supported from the first minute, enjoying a show characterized by the high artistic level, the scenic display, and the strong cultural identity that distinguishes the Concordia carnival.
During the second night, the comparsas Emperatriz, Bella Samba, Imperio, and Ráfaga paraded, presenting their artistic proposals for the 2026 edition, receiving the recognition and applause of the public present throughout the evening.
The Mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted the importance of the Carnival for the city: “It is one of the most important cultural and tourist expressions of our city. Each night generates work, economic movement, and strengthens our identity, with a show that brings together residents and tourists from the entire region”.
For his part, the Secretary of Government, Luciano Dell Olio, underscored the development of the second night: “We experienced a very positive second night, with great support from the public and a show that proceeded normally, reflecting the joint work between the comparsas, the Carnival Entity, and the different municipal areas”.
Likewise, the director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Dr. Luis Sánchez, valued the growth of the event: “The Carnival continues to grow night after night. The artistic level of the comparsas and the response of the public confirm the enormous work carried out throughout the year to sustain this show”.
The organization highlighted the correct functioning of the general operation, especially regarding entry to the venue, with the implementation of the new access via Teniente Ibáñez street and the use of the QR code ticket system, which allowed for faster entry and improved the public's experience.
Likewise, the commitment of the comparsas, technical staff, production teams, and the different areas involved in the development of the second night was highlighted.
The Concordia Carnival 2026 will continue next Saturday, February 7, with a new night of parades at the Atanasio Bonfiglio Corsódromo, renewing the invitation to residents and tourists to continue enjoying the most passionate event in the country.
