This morning, Mayor Francisco Azcué met with the Minister of Defense Luis Petri, within the framework of a meeting that the national official held with the members of the Mayors' Forum of Juntos por Entre Ríos.
On that occasion, Azcué presented the work that the Municipality of Concordia has been developing with the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment "Blandengues", through the Professional Training Program.
“I informed Minister Petri about the important bond we have maintained with the Armed Forces since our administration, particularly with the Argentine Army, an institution that is not only there to defend the Nation but also to collaborate in different situations that we as residents of Concordia have had to go through,” stated Azcué.
Regarding the Professional Training Program, the Mayor highlighted the very good reception it had from the Minister of Defense, announcing that he has initiated efforts to be able to count on more resources.
"Our goal is for this training space to continue growing so that more young people can learn a trade and enter the labor market," concluded Azcué.
