The Health Secretariat of the Municipality of Concordia informs that the ranking of lifeguard applicants authorized to perform duties on the municipality's beaches during the upcoming summer season is now available.
This list was compiled based on the approval of the current annual revalidation, within the framework established by Provincial Law No. 9826 and Municipal Ordinance No. 38,715, which regulate the admission and evaluation system for applicants to fill vacancies in the lifeguard service.
In accordance with Article 3 of the municipal admission system, applicants were evaluated through a scoring system that considers performance in the annual revalidation test and accredited academic or complementary training.
In this regard, Julio Pintos, head of the Concordia Lifeguard Service, indicated that “all these lifeguards are authorized to work anywhere in the province, after passing the revalidation that took place on October 7th at the Club Salto Grande. It was supervised by the Provincial Sports Secretariat,” he detailed.
Regarding Municipal Ordinance No. 38,715, it addresses the formation of a merit-based order to fill the vacancies that the Municipality of Concordia has year after year to cover the city's various beaches. “One of the points is the time the lifeguards achieve in the provincial revalidation, and then scores for lifeguard-related training are added,” he said.
The list of authorized lifeguards for the upcoming season is attached to this press release.
