The Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity (EDOS) reports that a new rupture has occurred in a 355 mm main pipe of the Roca aqueduct. Repair work has already begun to restore the drinking water supply as soon as possible.
Due to this intervention, the water supply will be affected in the following neighborhoods: Los Pájaros, Capricornio, Gobernador Cresto, Fátima 2, San Jorge, Constitución, San Antonio de Asís, 21 de Septiembre, Sarmiento, El Tero
In addition, the Roca aqueduct also reinforces the La Bianca, Divino Niño, Don Jorge, Lavarden, and Tavella Norte neighborhoods.
Since its construction, this aqueduct has presented multiple structural failures, including cracks in the cistern and recurring ruptures in different parts of the system. EDOS works day by day to address these contingencies and improve the drinking water service for all residents of Concordia.
