The Municipality of Concordia and the Decentralized Entity of Sanitary Works continue to carry out actions that allow for the improvement of drinking water supply in sectors that have been neglected as a result of a lack of planning and disinvestment in network maintenance.
The works are being executed within the framework of the Water Contingency Plan promoted by Mayor Francisco Azcué following the declaration of the Water Emergency.
On this occasion, the pump was replaced at a borehole located in the Pancho Ramírez neighborhood.
William Sosa, Operations Manager of EDOS, explained that together with the technical team of the Water Treatment Plant, the pump replacement was carried out, “which will allow for improved supply to the neighborhood, providing greater pressure to the supply and responding to a problem that had persisted for more than 10 years”.
In addition, valve replacements and the corresponding connections were made.
