Today, Thursday night, from 8:30 PM at the offices of the Municipal Sports Directorate, San Juan 841, the informative meetings regarding the new nomination system that will be used starting from this edition of the San Antonio de Padua Awards, which will take place on the upcoming Friday, December 20th, at the Concordia Convention Center, will continue.
As previously reported and under the directives of the Mayor, Dr. Enrique Cresto, the nominations will be carried out digitally through the Municipality's website, www.concordia.gob.ar, given that after work by the IT Directorate, a section will be enabled so that the institutions in charge of nominating the athletes who receive the San Antonio award can do so through it, with a procedure that is explained in these meetings.-
These began on Tuesday night, where representatives from the disciplines of Judo, Aikido, Artistic Skating, and Horse Racing were present, and they will continue this Thursday, where leaders from the disciplines of Swimming, Rugby, Hockey, Athletics, Shooting, Mountain Bike, Cycling, Equestrianism, Karate, Canoeing, Rowing, and Basketball have been summoned.
As stated previously, the meetings are open and those who believe they are in a position to nominate in any discipline may participate in them, even if they have not been summoned.-
This will be the thirty-second edition of the San Antonio de Padua Award presentation, which is the pioneer of sports awards in the province, having held its first edition at the San Martín Cinema on December 28, 1988.-
In each sports discipline, three awards are presented, where two of them are nominated by the Governing Bodies or, in their absence, by clubs or entities that practice it, while the third is reserved for specialized journalism.-
For inquiries, interested parties may go in person to San Juan 841 on business days between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM, or communicate during the same hours by phone at 421 7083.-
After tonight's meeting, the program will continue next Tuesday.
