One of the pillars of Mayor Enrique Cresto's administration is the recovery and enhancement of public spaces, understanding that they are meeting places for families and friends. Thus, the municipality works daily on the maintenance of squares, but initiatives have also been carried out such as the consolidation of promenades that are already traditional for all residents of Concordia, such as the Costanera and Liquidambar Park.
This was noted by the mayor himself through social media, when posting that "The first watchtower was in Liquidambar, the second in the Costanera", and announcing that "we will be placing the third one in the month of May". Next, the head of the local government asked: "We still haven't decided where!! For you, where should it go???". And the responses did not take long, while some proposed San Carlos, others Playa Nébel, and even some residents proposed their neighborhood square.
These attractions are in addition to the various improvements that have been made in these spaces, such as the construction of "quinchos" and a "healthy square" in Liquidambar Park, or the maintenance works, the new benches and even the Food Court by the river that could be enjoyed during the summer days in the Costanera, or the LED lighting.
