The Sustainable Schools Network is an educational and cultural program run by the Environmental Development and Abasto Park Administration Unit (UDAAPA), in coordination with the Departmental Board of Schools. Since it was created in 2012, it has promoted environmental education among students and staff at educational institutions across the city.
Its main focus is to provide training, guidance, and support across three key areas, fostering sustainable habits that go beyond the classroom and extend to families and the community.
The program also links up with the International Environment Fair Eco Sciences, where participating schools present their environmental research projects to national and international judges.
