The Municipality of Concordia is pleased to invite the entire community of Concordia and the region to participate in the official renaming ceremony of the Museum of Anthropology and Natural Sciences of our city.
Within the framework of its 28th anniversary, the institution will adopt the name "Nelson Oscar Vassallo", who was a pioneer in the archaeological findings of the Salto Grande region and whose collections laid the foundational basis for this museum.
This historic event is the result of a long-awaited effort, initiated by the Vassallo family, which received favorable support and approval from both the Deliberative Council and the Municipal Executive.
The activity will take place this Friday, December 12, at 6:00 PM, at the museum's headquarters, at 456 Rivadavia Street.
At the same time, the museum will remain open to the public from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM for those who wish to tour its facilities after the protocol ceremony.
