In a day marked by commitment and resident participation, the new Security Camera and Alarm System was inaugurated on Thursday afternoon in the San Miguel neighborhood I.
The initiative, promoted jointly by the Municipality and the residents through the Citizen Participation Program, represents a significant advance in community security and demonstrates how organization and teamwork can generate positive changes in the city.
Mayor Francisco Azcué highlighted the value of these actions, stating that “this action is a clear example of how the municipal tax paid by residents returns in concrete improvements for their neighborhood. We are committed to strengthening security and working together with the community to continue transforming Concordia”.
Continuing in this line, he highlighted the importance of working together with the residents, whom he asked to continue committing themselves to the place where they reside, taking care of their surroundings. “We are just passing through, but you are the ones who live and will continue to live in your neighborhood”.
From the Directorate of Citizen Participation, José Vedoya highlighted the importance of working together with the residents: “This achievement is the result of the community's effort and the support of a committed technical team. Security is not just a matter of infrastructure, but of participation and commitment”, he stated.
Also participating were the Undersecretary of Development and Entrepreneurship, Gabriel Enguelberg; the Undersecretary of Social Development, Roberto Niez; the Director of Prevention and Security, Martín Amiano; the Director of Citizen Participation, José Vedoya; authorities from the Eighth Police Station and residents.
