On Friday morning, Mayor Francisco Azcué led a recognition ceremony for personnel of the Operational Unit belonging to the Undersecretariat of Citizen Security.
The reason was the participation and commitment demonstrated by the agents in recent procedures carried out in the city; fundamentally related to the usurpation of public areas and spaces. Government Secretary Luciano Dell´Olio and Undersecretary of Citizen Security Claudio Purgart were present.
These are the agents Gaspar Suárez, Luciano Martínez, Dante Martínez, Agustín Risti, Agustín Morán, Juan Escobar, Martín Amiano, Exequiel Gorosito, and Fabián Barrios.
“I am aware of each of the actions you have taken, and that is the reason for this recognition. Order is one of the pillars of this administration, and you are a very important part of it,” highlighted Mayor Azcué, emphasizing the prevention work they carry out by intervening in more complex situations such as usurpations.
“We value the vocation of service and commitment. You are an example for other municipal agents by putting yourselves on the line to enforce the laws, and that is something we want to encourage,” affirmed Azcué.
Beyond the recognition, “we want to convey the pride we feel, how important you are to the administration, and for you to know that we will continue to provide you with more tools and resources so that you continue to professionalize yourselves in order to enforce the law. We are going to deepen the implementation of controls, and for that, we will need more of this commitment that you have been demonstrating,” he concluded.
