This morning, Mayor Francisco Azcué participated in the municipal program “Concordia por la Patria, each week, a school, a story,” which aims to promote a deep experience of civic and patriotic values among the children and youth of our city through their active participation in the raising of the Argentine flag, the Entre Ríos flag, and the Concordia flag.
The initiative is coordinated by the Undersecretariat of Education and the Directorate of Ceremonial and Protocol of the Municipality of Concordia, in coordination with the Departmental Directorate of Schools, creating a space for collective construction between the local government and educational institutions.
The main objective is to strengthen civic education, the sense of belonging, historical memory, and respect for patriotic symbols, thus consolidating a comprehensive pedagogical experience. Each institution raises the flags and shares a reflection on a significant anniversary, whether national, provincial, or local, promoting historical knowledge and oral expression.
At the end of the flag-raising ceremony, the students participated in a historical-heritage tour through the city center, delving into the local identity and cultural richness of Concordia.
In this edition of the program, teachers and students from School No. 1 Vélez Sarsfield and School No. 81 Jesús Nazareno were present. They were accompanied by the Undersecretary of Culture and Education Carlos Gatto and the Director of Culture Daniel Bogado.
