Four days before the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo begins to vibrate to the rhythm of the passions of the Carnival of Concordia, the ballot box was sealed, where at the end of each parade the jury will deposit the score sheets for each comparsa. Each comparsa is a custodian of one of the keys that opens the ballot box, to thus guarantee the transparency of the entire process.
The "sealing of the ballot box" ceremony was held at the Convention Center, before notary Inés Rossi, with the presence of the President of the Carnival Entity, Matias Soto, councilman Sebastián Cuberli, and Coordinator Sonia Albornos. Representatives of the comparsas were present: "Chiqui" Duimovich (from Ráfaga), Cristian Timón (from Imperio), and Daniel Celonca (from Bella Samba).
After the ceremony, Matias Soto pointed out that "we are finalizing details at the Cosmódromo site, with all the improvements ordered by Mayor Enrique Cresto, and we will be in excellent shape for this Saturday, which is the first night," he said. On Saturday, January 20, the site will open its doors at 9:00 PM, and the parade schedule will be as follows: Bella Samba, Imperio, Ráfaga, and Emperatriz.
Ticket sales continue online at www.concordia.gob.ar/carnaval, or at Caja Mixta from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Later, in the afternoon, the Corsódromo ticket offices will open at 7:00 PM.
