The Municipality of Concordia, through the Employment Directorate and the Institutional Decentralization Coordination, will hold the open talk “First Steps towards Employment”, a proposal aimed at people who are looking for work or wish to improve their opportunities for insertion into the labor market.
During the meeting, information will be provided on employment opportunities, guidance for job searching, tools for insertion into the world of work, and a space for questions and personalized advice.
The Employment Director of the Municipality of Concordia, Juan Manuel Scarzello, highlighted the importance of creating these types of support spaces: “Often, those looking for work need not only to access job offers, but also to have concrete tools to face interviews, prepare a resume, or know the possibilities that currently exist in the labor market. This talk aims precisely to provide that support and strengthen the capabilities of each participant”.
Likewise, Scarzello remarked that the initiative is part of a public policy aimed at improving the employment opportunities of residents: “From the municipal administration, we work permanently to bring training and guidance spaces that allow for expanding the possibilities of labor insertion, especially for young people and people who are taking their first steps in employment”.
For his part, the Secretary of Productive Development, Sebastián Arístide, pointed out that “the generation of employment and the strengthening of human capital are central axes for the development of the city. These actions allow linking residents with useful tools and generating greater opportunities for personal and professional growth”.
In addition, Arístide maintained that “accompanying those who seek to enter the labor market is also strengthening local economic development, because every resident who manages to access a job improves their quality of life and contributes to the growth of Concordia”.
In that sense, the coordinator of Institutional Decentralization, Nicolás Lesa, expressed that “we understand that bringing these types of proposals to different points of the city is fundamental to guarantee more equitable access to public tools and services. Generating training and labor guidance spaces in the neighborhoods not only facilitates the participation of more residents, but also strengthens the bond between the municipality and the community, promoting a more close, accessible, and present management in the territory”.
From the municipality, they invite the community to participate in this proposal that seeks to provide guidance and practical tools to face the challenges of the current labor world.
This activity is part of the “Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial”, promoted by the municipal administration with the objective of strengthening the integral development of the city, promoting actions of inclusion, training, and generation of opportunities for the residents of Concordia.
The meeting will be next Thursday, May 28, at 10:00 a.m., at the Casa del Bicentenario Punto Digital, located at 1779 Moulins, Víctor Oppel premises. Participation is free of charge and will require prior registration.
