This Tuesday, technical rehearsals for the Carnival began at the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo, formally starting the countdown to a new edition of the city's most important popular festival, which will have its opening night on January 24th. The first day featured the Bella Samba troupe.
These sessions are fundamental for adjusting technical aspects such as sound, lighting, timing, and movement, ensuring the proper development of the show.
In this regard, the Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez, highlighted that “technical rehearsals are a key stage for the work of the troupes and the entire team that makes the carnival possible. Here, an organizational and coordination process is set in motion that seeks to provide the public with a high-quality and prestigious show.”
Likewise, Sánchez remarked that “the Concordia Carnival is identity, culture, and work for hundreds of families, and these rehearsals reflect the commitment of each troupe to a festival that grows year after year.”
The schedule will continue this Wednesday with the Imperio troupe, Thursday with the Ráfaga troupe, and Friday with the Emperatriz troupe, from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with free admission for the public.
From the organization, they invite the community to join and enjoy these days, which mark the beginning of the path toward the Concordia Carnival 2026.
