With the presence of the Mayor, Dr. Francisco Azcué, the launch of the Municipal Program “Concordia por la Patria. Each week, a school, a story” was held at Plaza 25 de Mayo, an initiative of the Municipality of Concordia promoted by the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, in coordination with the Directorate of Ceremonial and Protocol and the Departmental Directorate of Schools.
This program aims to strengthen joint work between educational institutions, the local government, and the community in general, highlighting the active participation of schools in building a collective memory and a shared present.
Addressing those present, Mayor Azcué stated: “It is a very important day and we are very happy to resume this program. We are working to move our city forward, and for that, this structural and cultural transformation we are undertaking is necessary,” he indicated.
For his part, the Undersecretary of Education and Culture, Prof. Carlos Gatto, stated: “The program is a continuation to which we have added some things. From now on, each educational institution will prepare the commemoration of the day. With this, we are committed to schools having greater participation.”
Likewise, Gatto reported: “We already have five schools that will come to participate in this moving act, although the agenda is open for them to participate, both primary and secondary schools. The program also complements a tour of the city's historic center and a visit to the Municipality,” he added.
