On a night filled with emotion, music, and color, the awards and coronation ceremony of the Concordia Carnival, organized by the Permanent Carnival Entity, was held. It took place at the city's Convention Center.
The initiative brought together carnival performers, artists, local authorities, and the general public, who shared an unforgettable night, celebrating the culture, art, and effort of an entire community that experiences the carnival with a deep sense of belonging.
In this regard, Mayor Francisco Azcué, who accompanied the 2025 edition of the Carnival from the beginning, thanked everyone involved in this celebration for their work, congratulating each of the troupes and remarking that “we have experienced a wonderful carnival. I am proud as mayor and as a citizen of Concordia of the carnival we have, for the dedication and passion of all the troupes.”
“Throughout the year, we saw the work you do and the love you have for your troupe but, above all, for the carnival and our city. From the Carnival Entity and the administration, we convey all our respect and our desire to continue working together. I also want to highlight our ambassadors; they will all represent us in the best way throughout the country.”
For his part, the director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez, assessed the city's most popular event, underlining that “the members of the troupes are the true protagonists of the most important event we have as a city and that represents us so well throughout the country; that is what makes it the Most Passionate Carnival in the Country.”
In that sense, he added: “I am infinitely grateful to the four troupes and their four presidents, who with the best disposition have opened the doors of the carnival world to me. In this edition, we worked day by day with the Entity's team in each sector to gain experience, and that was possible thanks to their support,” he highlighted.
The event was marked by the joy and passion of “La Juntada Tricolor,” which was in charge of opening the ceremony; at the same time, those present enjoyed the unmistakable rhythm of “Batería TNT.” Subsequently, the outgoing Carnival Ambassador of Entre Ríos, Carla Delgado, was recognized for her work during the year, representing the Concordia Carnival and the people of Entre Ríos as a whole.
