The National Capital of Citrus reaffirms its commitment to the preservation and promotion of its architectural heritage by being designated as the "2025 Art Nouveau City of America". It is worth remembering that in 2024 it was declared the ninth city to join the Argentine Art Nouveau Route, being the first in the Mesopotamia region.
This new designation positions it as a national and international benchmark in cultural, heritage, and architectural tourism.
The distinction granted by the Art Nouveau Buenos Aires Association (AANBA) and the Argentine Art Nouveau Route (RANN), with the support of the National Secretariat of Tourism, allows Concordia to actively participate in various initiatives that will strengthen its visibility both within the country and abroad.
As part of this recognition, the city will be a protagonist in the "AANBA Urban Tourism" activities and the "Pan-American Art Nouveau Route", in connection with the RANN (Art Nouveau Network) and the European Art Nouveau Route. Furthermore, it will have representation at international fairs such as the International Tourism Fair.
As the "2025 Art Nouveau City of America", Concordia will have certain privileges that will strengthen its cultural and tourist identity. The benefits and activities include presence in AANBA networks and events, with dissemination on digital platforms, as well as coverage in national media such as La Nación and Clarín.
In addition, the declaration ceremony with the presence of the Association's authorities and the naming of an "Emblematic Building 2025" with the placement of a bronze plaque, as well as inclusion in the Passport BA 2025 guide and a leading role in the 8th International Urban Tourism Meeting 2025.
AANBA, through its prestigious work in the valorization of heritage, guarantees high-level recognition for Concordia, with the backing of organizations such as CAME (Argentine Confederation of Medium-Sized Enterprises) Tourism, FECOBA (Federation of Commerce and Industry of the City of Buenos Aires), ICOMOS (UNESCO International Council on Monuments and Sites), and the European Union.
