During the weekend, a 91% hotel occupancy rate and a significant influx of visitors were recorded. More than 5,000 people entered the Racetrack to enjoy the penultimate round of the Turismo Nacional, a competition that benefited the city's hotel, gastronomic, and commercial sectors.
During the weekend, tourist activity in Concordia generated a total economic impact of $673,409,250.15, with an average daily expenditure per visitor of $118,363.75. Regarding origin, visitors were recorded from the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Córdoba, and various towns in Entre Ríos.
One of the most notable aspects of this record was that it was achieved during a regular weekend, without holidays or special days that boost tourist arrivals.
The selection of Concordia within the calendar of this sporting event represents recognition of the conditions the destination offers to host events of such magnitude, as was the case with Turismo Nacional (TN APAT). The infrastructure, spaces equipped for sports development, diversity of attractions, quality of its services, and the warmth of its hosts represent a differential value that positions the city on the radar of major competitions.
The municipal Undersecretariat of Tourism and the Mixed Concordiense Tourism Board (EMCONTUR) promote an agenda aimed at consolidating Concordia as a key destination for sports and event tourism. This joint effort seeks to attract competitions throughout the year, boost the local economy, and strengthen the city's leadership in the Salto Grande region.
