Beyond its varied offerings, Concordia is establishing itself as a comprehensive destination for hosting meetings, congresses, and conventions. The city not only possesses appropriate infrastructure but also strategic planning that favors the development of events of various kinds, strengthening its identity as an epicenter for activities of regional and national interest.
During April, the event calendar reflects this growth with highly relevant proposals. Among them are: the third round of the Turismo Nacional Motorsports, the 7th International Meeting of Antique and Classic Cars and Stationary Engines, the 8th National Meeting of Community Leaders, the April Flamenco Fair, the 1st Litoral Training Workshop in Spanish Dance, the “Río de los Pájaros” Binational Award, the CSI 2025 Equestrian Tournament, and the 1st Round of the Speed Skating Tournament, among others. Furthermore, in September and for the first time, Concordia will host the "Entre Ríos, Entre Viñas 2025" event, reinforcing its positioning in the wine tourism segment.
Among the key factors that consolidate the city as an event host is the Concordia Convention Center (CCC), a modern and versatile space with top-tier infrastructure for holding large-scale congresses, fairs, and meetings. Added to this is a significant advancement for the destination's connectivity: the imminent inauguration of the Concordia International Airport, which will facilitate access for visitors and participants, improving connection with other regions of the country and abroad, which will contribute to generating and/or attracting events that are not held in destinations without air connectivity.
This development is the result of joint work between the Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Tourism and various areas, as well as the EMCONTUR. In this framework, a unified calendar of events was implemented, available at www.concordia.gob.ar/turismo/ agenda, where organizers can register activities with tourist impact.
This tool not only optimizes the planning and promotion of each event but also allows for an efficient distribution of resources and avoids overlaps in scheduling, guaranteeing quality experiences for attendees and promoting the growth of the sector. Furthermore, this year and in conjunction with the Bureau, meetings with event initiators will continue to learn about their agendas, allowing for better coordination and support in the organization of activities with tourist impact.
In this sense, the meetings and events segment has been widely recognized by AOCA (Argentine Association of Organizers and Suppliers of Exhibitions, Congresses, Events and Convention Bureaus), which defines it as a growth engine with high performance and impact on the value chain of each destination.
With strategic planning, institutional support, and a constantly expanding event offering, the National Capital of Citrus continues to consolidate itself as a benchmark within Meetings and Events Tourism in Argentina.
