This morning, Mayor Alfredo Francolini held a working meeting with the presidents of the four Concordia carnival troupes, in which the realization of the 2022 Concordia Carnival was defined.
“Today it is officially confirmed that there will be a Carnival in Concordia,” reported the representatives of the carnival troupes together with the municipal officials who participated in the meeting. After different encounters and meetings in which different points were defined regarding what the 2022 edition will be like, in the return to in-person events once the pandemic has been overcome, Concordia starts the engines for the biggest summer festival.
“We have agreed on a series of points that will be outlined in a document so that the carnival troupes are notified and aware of everything that was discussed,” expressed Eduardo Cristina, president of the Emperatriz carnival troupe. “It is the most important popular festival that the city of Concordia has,” highlighted Leo Contavalle, president of the Bella Samba carnival troupe. “We have managed to reach an agreement,” he added. Cristian Timón from the Imperio carnival troupe and Chiqui Duimovihc from the Ráfaga carnival troupe also participated in the meeting.
